POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a part-time Shift Supervisor to work alongside and lead team members to achieve shift goals while maintaining a fun and professional retail environment. They are trained to have a strong understanding of the company, culture, and team with a focus on providing elevated hospitality for every customer. Base pay for the position is $15/hour with an additional average of $5/hour in credit card tips.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Leadership of store opening or closing duties.
- Engaging with guests and selling product to achieve sales goals.
- Team member training and coaching.
- Communication liaison with store management.
- Serve as a MilkShake Factory brand advocate delivering top-tier customer service.
- Lead shift in mastering product recipes crafting the highest quality desserts for guests.
- Provide shift leadership in handling customer service needs.
- Maintain organized, clean store from front of house to back of house.
- Ensure all cash management policies are followed.
- Ensure food safety and quality during shift.
- Assist with seasonal sales promotions.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- At least 1 year of food and beverage experience.
- Available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills, sales skills, and exceptional customer service skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while demonstrating leadership skills.
- Ability to judge and appropriately react to business activity to ensure labor management.
- Attention to detail and safety requirements.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
- Previous customer service and cash-handling experience.
- Must perform physical activities to accomplish assigned duties, such as walking and standing for up to and including 4 hours at a time, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting to 25 pounds.
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
